Looking for Database Postgrad Diploma Course

I am looking to study a postgrad course in IT with particular focus on Database systems. I do not have an IT background but have a primay degree in Arts & Masters in Science.
I have been looking at 2 year part time postgrad courses in NUIG & DCU in IT but they seem very broad & i would like to specialise in database systems if possible. It may be the case that i need to do a broad IT course first & then specialise in Database systems, so any advice that anyone might pass onto me would be greatly appreciated. I work full time & if possible, i would like a 1 day a week or an evening course.
